I wasn’t always a full-time photographer. I used to think I’d spend my life tucked behind sterile walls, mixing meds & restocking crash carts in a hospital pharmacy. I tried college. Twice. Nothing felt right until I stopped trying to fit into something safe & started listening to that gut feeling telling me I was meant for something more.
When my (then) fiancé left for a year overseas, I picked up a camera with the intention of filling my time & then I never put it down. But the truth is, photography found me long before that. Back in high school, I was the girl sneaking underwater iPhone pics of my siblings in the backyard pool, stealing my mom's point and shoot camera, eyeing those disposable cameras every time we went into a Walgreens, & living for the days I got to be in photography class. It’s always been there, I just didn't see it until 3 years ago when I started this journey professionally.
Now, I get to spend my days documenting the kind of love that makes you wanna scream-sing Noah Kahan lyrics on a mountain top. Elopements + weddings have my whole heart. I live for those small, intentional, deeply personal “I do” days where the pressure melts away and you're free to just be together. Just you, your love, and whatever version of adventure feels like home.
And adventure? It’s not one-size-fits-all. It might be a paddleboard elopement at sunrise, a champagne-soaked first kiss in the desert, a board game in your Airbnb, or a muddy hike to a hidden waterfall. Whatever lights you up, I’m already lacing my boots.
My clients (new besties) usually tell me how easy it felt being in front of my camera. That it didn’t feel like a photoshoot, it felt like hanging out with a friend who happened to be documenting the best day of their lives. That’s the goal & that's my 'why.' I’ll bring the music, the direction when you need it, & the energy of someone who’s just as excited about your love as you are.
When I’m not behind the lens, I’m usually lakeside in the Idaho mountains, paddle-boarding with an Alani in hand, my husband nearby, & a true crime podcast or Noah Kahan playing in the background. I live for those slow, wild, joy-soaked moments & I want that for you too.
So if you’re ready to trade tradition for something unforgettable, and want someone who’s in it for more than just pretty photos, I’m your girl.
